FREE ELECTRONIC FILING AND PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR MUNICPAL INCOME TAX
 

All City income tax payments and forms can be mailed to RITA at P.O. Box 477900, Broadview Hts, Ohio 44147. Payments and forms can be obtained, completed and filed on-line at www.ritaohio.com.  We encourage citizens and business to utilize the electronic filing and payment system as it is secure and simple to use.  

RITA: The City of Tallmadge joined the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) for the collection of city income taxes in December 2009. RITA offers many advantages to the citizens and businesses, including a more advanced level of technology and computerization, on line tax registration and on line payment of taxes for businesses and citizens.
 

RATE OF TAX:  Tallmadge has a 2% rate of income tax.

FILING DEADLINES:  City Income Tax returns are due April 15th.  Estimated tax payments for the calendar year are to be paid quarterly by April 15^th, July 31, October 31 and January 31.

WHO MUST FILE:  All Tallmadge residents 18 years of age or older must file an Income Tax Return as well as anyone with rental property inside the City or who owns a business in Tallmadge.
