Economic Developer

The Economic Developer for the City of Tallmadge is Dennis Loughry. A long time Tallmadge resident, Dennis has served the City in many capacities. He has been a member of Tallmadge City Council, Civil Service Commission, Tallmadge Board of Education, and most recently as the City's Service Director. He possesses a very broad understanding of how our City operates.

Dennis has over 30 years experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional sales. He was also a Realtor for eight years, specializing in the Tallmadge area market. He is a past Executive Director for the Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce and has extensive business experience in both the private and public sectors.

Like many of our residents, Dennis has been very involved in our community. He was a football coach for over 20 years and very active in Tallmadge Little League. He has held several leadership positions with many of our local clubs and organizations, and is still an active member of the Tallmadge Rotary Club and the Tallmadge Chamber of Commerce. He enjoys volunteering for Mobile Meals, and the Haven of Rest. He was honored in 2001 as Tallmadge's Citizen of the Year.

As the Economic Developer, Dennis develops and maintains the City's community and economic development programs, and directs the Commercial/lndustriaI Revenue Generation Program. The Economic Developer is appointed by the Mayor.
