Lifetime Achievement Awards

Many people in the City of Tallmadge spend their lifetime contributing valuable time and effort to improve our city for the greater good of others, and to the greater good of our community as a whole. These “unsung heroes” volunteer their time, day in and day out, by giving back to our community. Many have worked their entire lives to make Tallmadge a great and caring city – a city we can call in the truest sense of the word – community. These people don’t ask for recognition. They do it because they are good people who care. Over the years, many individuals deserving of being recognized by their peers have passed on, and their individual contributions are starting to fade from memory and time. The intent of this Award is to recognize our unsung heroes who have consistently contributed their time and energy through civic involvement within their lifetime. The people receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from our city are role models for all us. Without their unyielding contributions to our community, Tallmadge would not be the proud city it is today.

Below are the guidelines for Nomination and the Award Application. If you feel you know someone who meets these guidelines, please feel free to download and fill out an application. Nominations must be received by the City of Tallmadge by September 10, 2010.
