The Income Tax Administrator is Jill Stritch, the Finance Director for the City of Tallmadge.

The Income Tax Department is conveniently located in the Payment Center on the ground floor of Tallmadge City Hall, at 46 North Avenue. The Payment Center is also where citizens can go to pay any City of Tallmadge bills, such as your water bill, sewer bill, income tax, compost, building permits, etc.

The office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Citizens or businesses that need assistance with their income tax, need tax forms, or have a question can call the tax office or come in to talk to the staff which is available to assist you.

RATE OF TAX: Tallmadge has a 2% rate of City Income tax

FILING DEADLINES: Tallmadge Income Tax Returns are due April 15th.   Estimated tax payments for the calendar are to be paid quarterly by April 15, July 31, October 31, and January 31.

WHO MUST FILE: All Tallmadge residents 18 years or older, must file an Income Tax return and anyone with rental property inside the City or owns a business in Tallmadge.

ACCEPTABLE METHODS OF PAYMENT: We accept payments of cash or check at the payment center, or you can mail in check, money order, VISA and MasterCard.  There is also a drop box for payments located in the entrance driveway of the City Building.
