The Tallmadge Cemetery which is owned and maintained by the City of Tallmadge is located between South Avenue and Southwest Avenue.  There is an entrance to the Old Cemetery off of Southwest Avenue and entrances from South Avenue to the cemetery located south of the railroad tracks.  The Cemetery Sexton is David G. Kline, Director of Public Service.

Lots are available in the Old Cemetery Section for purchase.  Lots may be purchased at the Building & Zoning Department at the City Hall.

• One grave space by non-resident                                         $ 2,000
• Baby Section-one grave space by a City resident                  $300
• Baby Section-one grave space by non-resident                      $800
• Regular grave opening                                                         $500
• Opening for cremations                                                       $100

• Additional charge for opening on Saturday                            $150

          Monument Foundation (42” x 16” per space maximum)        $100

Rules & Regulations

• A copy of the Rules & Regulations may be picked up in the Building & Zoning Department
• No burials on Sundays or Holidays
• No burial shall be permitted until the purchase price of the grave space has been paid in full
• To qualify for “Baby Section” charges, the vault cannot exceed forty-eight inches in length
• Cremated remains may also be placed on existing graves
