Maca Rules & Regulations
Safety is our highest priority. The rules and regulations for Maca Aquatic Center have been designed to ensure the safety of everyone visiting the facility.
General Policies
- A valid photo ID is required for daily visits and to purchase a membership for everyone age 18 and older.
- Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or over to enter the pool.
- Proof of residency (driver's license, pay stub or utility bill) is required to receive the resident discount.
- Everyone entering the facility must have a membership or valid daily admission wristband.
- Daily admission passes are good for the entire day. Please keep your wristband on to reenter the facility.
- Tobacco use is not permitted within 150 feet of any park or playground structure.

Weather
- The pool will close if the air temperature is under 65 degrees or if attendance warrants.
- The pool will be cleared and may be closed in cases of bad weather, including thunder storms or heavy rain.

Swimming Areas
- Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult 18 or older and must be supervised while in the facility.
- Swim diapers are required for diaper-age children.
- Children 5 years and under must be within arm’s reach of their parent/legal guardian at all times while in the facility.
- For everyone's safety, do not distract the lifeguards.
- Flotation devices that fasten onto a child are permitted in shallow water only. An adult must be present and within arm's reach of the child.
- Balls, diving sticks, water guns, fins, masks, snorkels and mermaid tails are not permitted.
- Swimwear specifically designed for use in a pool must be worn in the pool.
- Coolers are permitted, but glass containers and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Slides
- All riders must be a minimum height of 48 inches ride the slides.
- Riders must slide one at a time in a feet first position while lying on their back. Arms and feet must be kept inside the slide flume.
- Goggles, masks, eyeglasses, jewelry and flotation devices are not permitted.
- Do not stop on the slide.
