[ARCHIVED] National Fire Prevention Week 2016

National Fire Prevention Week Picture

Did you know smoke alarms need to be changed every ten years? According to the National Fire Protection Association, three out of five home fire deaths happen from home fires with no smoke alarms or no working smoke alarms. In an effort to keep the community safe, the Tallmadge Fire Department and the National Fire Protection Association want to spread the word to "Check the Date" on each smoke alarm in your household. Follow the Tallmadge Fire Department on Facebook for more helpful tips on Fire Safety.
